Mesothelioma, asbestos revelation and life suspense
Asbestos reason several risks to a human’s life and one of the most common of these after a long period of disclosure is cancer sickness and even unusual structure cancer such as Mesothelioma.
There are three types of Mesothelioma that a human can develop. This also results in a more reliant treatment plan for the patient with a longer life expectancy rate than other forms.
However there are many factors that decrease life expectancy in a Mesothelioma patient and although some things can be altered in the person’s life other factors unfortunately cannot be changed.
Smoking can deeply affect the life expectancy of a patient with Mesothelioma and in fact cause more problems especially as the most common form of pleural Mesothelioma has a major impact on the patient’s lungs. As diseases such as Mesothelioma are cause by a long term exposure to asbestos it is often found that the most common age to be diagnosed with the disease is 60. Often in these patients there is also a heightened risk of other problems such as high blood pressure and heart disease. It is extremely important to catch the disease fast or eliminate any exposure to the substance if possible through asbestos surveys or work areas and asbestos management.
Asbestos in the Home What are the Risks?
It is not always easy to tell whether a product contains asbestos as modern asbestos-free materials often look similar - remember it is usually older products that contain asbestos. Common places where asbestos could be found include:
Asbestos cement - cement roofs, wall cladding, downpipes and gutters, cement flues.
Floor tiles, textiles and composites - textiles in fuse boxes, old fire blankets, heat resistant gloves. Composites can be toilet cisterns/seats and bath panels, window sills, bath panels.
Roofing felt
Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) - commonly used as fireproofing material and also partition walls, fireproofing panels in fire doors, lift shaft linings, ceiling tiles, soffits, panels below windows.
Loose fill asbestos - in between cavity walls, under floorboards and in loft spaces.
When asbestos materials age or become damaged they can release fibres into the air.
What should I do if I suspect there is asbestos in my home?
The general rule is to leave asbestos undisturbed. DIY work may result in brief but high levels of exposure to dangerous asbestos fibres. We would advise anyone against attempting to carry out work involving sprayed asbestos, lagging or insulating boards as this should always be undertaken by a licensed asbestos removal contractor.
REMEMBER:
Avoid creating asbestos dust
Avoid breathing asbestos dust
Asbestos materials in good condition should be left alone
Take extra care when undertaking DIY
Dispose of asbestos properly
If you would prefer to have asbestos materials in your house removed by regulated specialist removers (and this should always be the case when dealing with pipe lagging, sprayed asbestos or loose fibrous insulation) then there are companies who will undertake such work.

Mesothelioma: Clinical and Morphology
Tumor cells are rarely found mesotelial is most common in the pleura (more rarely in the peritoneum and other places). Mesothelioma is a tumor associated with asbestos exposure in the workplace in 90% of cases; however. only 20% of all patients who suffered from pulmonary asbestosis. The risk of life (not influenced by smoking habits) in patients with severe exposure is 7-10% with a latent period between exposure and onset of tumor-25-45 years. Among the asbestos factory workers, lung carcinoma remains the most frequent tumor found; risk of lung carcinoma experienced a noticeable increase if there is also the habit of smoking.
Clinical Overview
Mesothelioma patients found with chest pain, dyspnea and recurrent pleural effusions. Highly malignant mesothelioma is a tumor that invades the lungs and can metastasize widely. Some patients with these tumors can survive more than 2 years.
morphology
Menyehar tumors are diffuse pulmonary fissures on the surface and forming a sheath that surrounds the tumor. Epitelioid microscopic patterns of tumor (70%), sarkomatoid (20%) and mixed (biphasic) (10%).
• The pattern shows epitelioid-cell-like epithelial cells by forming tubular and papillary protrusions that resemble adenocarcinoma. ¬ characterize antigenic characteristics (kalretinin, WT-1 positivity and CK5 / 6) and ultrastructural (microvilli are long and slender) allows these tumors be distinguished with adenocarcinoma (MOC3I positivity and BG8 and have short microvilli and fat).
• Polo sarkomatoid showed malignant cells resembling fibrosarcoma-shaped coil.

The vaccine proved safe Mesothelioma
According to a study recently conducted by a cancer research laboratory in the Netherlands, the latest new vaccines to prevent and treat mesothelioma mesothelioma, a form of cancer that originates from exposure to asbestos. The researchers have tested the vaccine on 10 patients who had been diagnosed with mesothelioma, with all of them showed increased levels of antibodies against the disease and three of them showed that the tumor had decreased in size.
What are symptoms of mesothelioma cancer?
The study, published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, explains bagimana vaccines work by creating cell-dendritic cell antigen in malignant mesothelioma tumors in the lining fluid in the lungs of patients. Dr. Joachim Aerts, the author of the study and lung specialist at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, said that approach by using the patient's immune system to attack tumors and is useful for creating immunity to the disease, compared with conventional radiation or chemotherapy treatments.
How histological mesothelioma?
Dr. Aerts said that this is one of a relatively new form of treatment called immunotherapy for cancer. Mesothelioma vaccine can be used and relatively safe, with few side effects when compared with current treatment methods. He expressed the hope that further study could improve the survival rate of patients with the disease mesothelioma. Currently, patients diagnosed with mesothelioma, the prognosis of his life just lived less than two years.
Patients who have been exposed to asbestos typically do not show symptoms of mesothelioma for several years or even decades, after the initial exposure period. At that time, mesothelioma will continue to run metastases in the lungs and seeps into other organs. The other side of this study is that the vaccine could be a direct treatment for workers exposed to asbestos.
Although the side effects shown by the patients in this study are not as severe as that experienced by patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments, one of the potential effects from a change from the patient's immune system during immunotherapy. The study noted that patients recover quickly and showed no signs of autoimmune disease related.
The distinction between pleural mesothelioma and peritoneal mesothelioma
Dr. Aerts noted a potential problem exists on immunosuppressive disorders. He said that a major problem for treatment of mesothelioma is a tumor to create an environment in the pleural mesothelium which can reduce the effects of the vaccine. He mentioned that the next step in vaccine development is how to provide immunosuppressive around the cancer to improve treatment effectiveness.
Dr. Aerts and her fellow researchers have done some tests on the effects on dendritic cells and how they may affect cancer tumors in mice. Previous research indicates that vaccination produces antibodies needed to destroy malignant cells and maintaining the surrounding healthy tissue to produce a specific immunity.

Mesothelioma treatment is needed to handle people with mesothelioma. Malignant Mesothelioma
is classified as a rare cancer disease. Mesothelioma is usually caused by exposure to
asbestos, a fibrous amphibole. People who breathe these fibers can capture asbestosis or
lung cancer.
It has been reported that about three thousand people are diagnosed with mesothelioma. In
addition, the opportunity to be diagnosed with mesothelioma showed that in five people there
is the possibility of four men and one woman with mesothelioma. With the fact of that fact,
mesothelioma treatment must be applied to people who suffer from mesothelioma.
Mesothelioma treatment is necessary against those who are diagnosed with mesothelioma.
Before doing mesothelioma treatments, patients need to know about the causes and types of
mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a type of terminal cancer that is often caused by exposure to
asbestos. Asbestos exposure occurs by inhaling or swallowing. Then, the action causing
inflammation or irritation and infection.
Furthermore, prior treatment of mesothelioma, knows the type of mesothelioma itself is quite
important. Medical world to find five different types of mesothelioma. First, the most
common form of mesothelioma is pleural mesothelioma. Approximately seventy-five percent
suffering from mesothelioma is pleural mesothelioma was diagnosed. This is called pleural
mesothelioma because of the pleura, which is the lining of the lungs.
Secondly, peritoneal mesothelioma mesothelioma was ranked second as the most common
sustained. This type of mesothelioma affects about 20 percent of people who suffer from
mesothelioma. Third, pericardial mesothelioma affects about 5 percent of all people who
suffer from mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is formed in the pericardium. The latter is a
testicular mesothelioma, which is very rare.
After knowing the cause and type of mesothelioma, it is expected that the person will get
mesothelioma treatments understand the disease. Those who are healthy are expected to avoid
the treatment of mesothelioma. In other words, we should be able to prevent mesothelioma
treatment to be healthy and free of disease. However, if we do have to suffer the disease,
we need to get immediate treatment of mesothelioma. There are many mesothelioma treatment
center that provides the best mesothelioma treatment. Many mesothelioma treatment centers
compete with each other to provide the best treatment for mesothelioma patients.

Causes of Mesothelioma Cancer (Asbestos)
What mesothelioma is asbestos? Mesothelioma is a cancer arising from exposure to asbestos or asbestos dust is inhaled breathing, so that it can injure the respiratory and cause deadly cancer, asbestos material we often see, or even we use as the roof of the house without us knowing it to be the cause of mesothelioma cancer is , so that buildings roofed asbestos materials likely to lead to the occurrence of cancer.
A person who is affected by exposure to asbestos since the first hit and began to hurt a person's breathing can not be directly detected as a cancer caused by asbestos dust, usually symptoms of this disease will occur after several years or 30 years later
Ferociously deadly cancer-causing asbestos as many countries prohibit the use of asbestos as building materials such as Japanese government banned all forms of building materials using asbestos. And several countries in Europe, in the late 80s began banning of asbestos as a raw material or building housing that will be inhabited by humans. This was followed by many other countries like America, Sweden, Iceland and many other countries.
What exactly is asbestos?
Asbestos is a mineral fiber types included in the class of silica and serpentine (krisotil which is a magnesium silicate hydroxide with a composition Mg6 (OH) 6 (Si4O11) H2O), and amphibole from the rock-forming minerals, including: actinolite, amosite
(Brown asbestos, cummingtonite, grunnerite), anthophyllite, chrysotile (white asbestos),
crocidolite (blue asbestos), tremolite, or a mixture of at least
contain one of these minerals.
Asbestos-containing dust can be inhaled by humans and asbestos dust is flying particles in the air as we often see the work environment, and this asbestos dust with a diameter less than 3um of length 3 times the diameter will be easily inhaled
If you you use materials such as asbestos roof, for example, you can minimize by using a ceiling, if you are working in environments such as direct contact with asbestos factories etc., can be anticipated by using a mask, etc. so that dust or particles from asbestos material is not directly inhaled.

Carbon Nanotubes and Asbestos
According to many news circulating on the internet particles of asbestos or asbestos is known as one of the main causes of cancer called mesothelioma"Malignant mesothelioma is a cancer (a rare form of cancer) develops in the organs of the protective layer. one of the causes of this cancer is the presence of particle pressure to the outer tissues of internal organs. in this case is the molecular asbestos "
CNT molecular nano-sized and-shaped tube what if this molecule into the human body? a study been done (can be seen in video footage below) CNT has properties similar to asbestos if inlet molecule into a cell. even in an Elsevier journal A cell output will have almost the same behavior if the wear with molecules that "sharp" early early this cell will form a protective but if this protection is excessive will be formed a kind of cancer.
You can read more here in the link shows the image response of a cell when charged molecules CNTs and asbestos (I am not permitted to copy arbitrary)
a cell is given the same treatment, as shown in the video below.
"Inhale carbon nanotubes can be harmful to health" as I quote from one of the news on the internet.
for those of you who already lam all wrestling in this area must already know the dangers so they can be better care of myself, but for those who are just starting out should know the dangers first ... congratulations to experiment

Know Mesothelioma, Lung Disease The Dangerous
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that can be simply defined as a malignancy occurs in the mesothelial layer. The mesothelium is the protective tissue that contained as a layer on the outer surface of the body's vital organs including the lungs, heart and stomach. There are three main types of mesothelioma in the human body that include epithelioid type, sarcomatoid type and mixed or biphasic type. Mesotheliomas also grouped based on the network or location. Mesothelioma Pleural mesothelioma is pleural tissue occurs in the lungs, while occurring in the abdomen called peritoneal mesothelioma peritoneum. Pericardial Mesothelioma occurs in the cavity around the heart and testes peritoneal Mesothelioma occurs in the testes.
The most dominant cause of Mesothelioma increasingly exposed to asbestos. According to studies, people who are employed as factory workers, miners, insulation manufacturers, railroad workers, ship builders, gas mask factory and construction workers the highest incidence of mesothelioma. These employees can file a lawsuit against the company if the company values ??profits over human life. Typically, companies do not implement prevention technologies is important and tends to ignore the adverse effects of hazardous chemicals to employees. In this situation, the only way to get justice if diagnosed with mesothelioma is to file a lawsuit. A successful lawsuit could provide a means of financial security for families and also pay the expenses incurred on medical treatment.
Mesothelioma diagnosis is difficult because most of the symptoms are similar to various other diseases. Pleural Mesothelioma symptoms were found during the respiratory disease including chest and back pain, difficulty swallowing, respiratory distress, persistent cough, fever, nausea and weight loss. Peritoneal Mesothelioma symptoms include abdominal swelling, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, swollen feet, stomach and vomiting does not irregular.

Types of Cancer Treatment Malignant Mesothelioma
Treatment for malignant mesothelioma has not been found, but the people affected by the disease still prefer to undergo treatment with a mixture of methods or participate in various clinical trials. Types of mesothelioma treatment techniques regularly performed with the surgical procedure, drug therapy, and radiation therapy.
Malignant Mesothelioma Cancer Symptoms
Although these treatments are most often found, you can find other treatment options are now increasing in popularity. Some of these treatment options is gene therapy, immunotherapy, and photodynamic therapy.
The different surgical procedures performed on patients with malignant mesothelioma have 3 types of palliative surgical procedures, surgical procedures diagnostic, curative surgical procedure. Surgical palliation is aimed at reducing the symptoms and eliminate all cancer cells. However, this type of surgery is not very advisable.
The goal of surgery is to remove as much as possible curative mesothelioma cancer, hoping this type of therapy can be completely healed. Usually curative surgery followed by chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Differences pleural mesothelioma and peritoneal mesothelioma
Diagnostic surgical approach intended to do with finding the fact that cancer is present or not in patients. This procedure is an addition that can help identify where the location of the cancer, if found, the diagnosis of mesothelioma usually remains in the form of non-invasive.
Chemotherapy drug given intravenously with the aim to destroy cancerous tissue. Mesothelioma cancer cells are growing very fast and chemotherapy would be more effective if given quickly.
Radiation therapy is done by comparing drug therapies, which aim to destroy cancerous tissue and limit the spread of cancer cells much as possible. This method is also called "ionizing radiation" and is usually used after surgery. The mechanism of action similar to that palliative care is also aimed to eliminate the pain caused by the disease.
Mesothelioma Prognosis
Photodynamic therapy is usually used if the cancer is malignant mesothelioma is still small and less effective for photodynamic cancer metastasis. Photodynamic therapy requires intravenous drug therapy to cancer cells will be killed as a result of certain vulnerable.

Immunotherapy is given transform and the immune system of individuals trying to destroy cancer cells. Individuals with active immunotherapy, malignant mesothelioma cells to be removed which is then used to produce vaccines. The person who injected the vaccine, will have an immune system capable of recognizing "malignant mesothelioma cell vaccine" as a hazardous substance, so the presence of the cancer cell itself is known as a dangerous substance.

What You Should Know About Mesothelioma
It is important to stress that once you start experiencing symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma (shortness of breath, chest pain, coughing up blood, and heart palpitations), you should immediately seek specialized help. ! br! br! Because asbestos is so strongly associated with mesothelioma, the regulations have been made to set limits on the amount of exposure to asbestos may have a worker in the workplace. In the past 20 years mesothelioma cases raised. Some procedures are generally used for the diagnosis of peritoneal mesothelioma include peritoneoscopy, thoracoscopy, biopsy ! br! br! Mesothelioma Danger!
Mesothelioma is a type of cancer most often arises in the pleura or lining around the lungs. Can also occur along the stomach lining and heart.
Mesothelioma Causes
Asbestos is a strong mineral that has been used for various purposes, which is in between making for fire-resistant objects. If asbestos broken or damaged, will form tiny fibers. It's thin and needle-like fibers and can easily float in the air. Thick clouds of asbestos dust is common in the demolition of buildings, factories or workshops. People who come into the venue will breathe it in through my nose or swallowing of air, further inside the body, these fibers cling lining around the lungs or abdomen. it gradually lead to inflammation and eventually cancer.
Who sufferers of mesothelioma?
According to studies, about 70-85% of people who suffer from mesothelioma until a certain time period tested positive.
The average patient age at diagnosis is 50-75 years. It might seem surprising given that most people are retired or working at jobs that do not involve asbestos when they were diagnosed with cancer. Mesothelioma Danger!
Indeed, which is a rather long period Mesothelioma delays and there may be delays in the relationship between the first 15-30 years for symptoms of mesothelioma disease. Mesothelioma
DEFINITION
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that occurs in the thin tissue that lines most of the internal organs (mesothelium). The doctor divides mesothelioma into several types based on which part of this cancer occurs. Among others:
• malignant pleural mesothelioma, which occurs in the tissue lining around the lungs and is the most common type.
• Peritoneal mesothelioma, occurring in tissues that line the stomach.
• pericardial mesothelioma, occurring in the tissue lining around the heart.
• Mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis, occurs in the lining around the testicles.
SYMPTOMS
Signs and symptoms of mesothelioma varies based on where the cancer occurs.
Pleural mesothelioma, signs and symptoms include:
• Shortness of breath
• Pain when breathing
• Pain when coughing
• Pain in the lower rib
• an unusual lump in the chest under the skin layer
• Lost weight suddenly
• Dry cough
Peritoneal mesothelioma, signs and symptoms include:
• Pain in abdomen
• Swelling in the abdomen
• Changes in bowel movements, such as more frequent diarrhea or constipation
• Lump in the tissues in the abdominal area
• Lost weight suddenly
Other forms of mesothelioma
Signs and symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma and tunica vaginalis are unclear. There is no complete information about this. Pericardial mesothelioma have signs and symptoms that may include difficulty breathing or chest pain. While mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis can be detected first by the enlargement of the testicles.
Causes & Risk Factors
Cause
In general, cancer occurs when cells mutate DNA. This mutation makes the cells continued to grow and flourish while others have normal cell cycles of life and death. Accumulation of cancer cells can form a malignant tumor.
It is unclear what causes the initial genetic mutations that lead to mesothelioma although scientists identify factors that may increase the risk. Cancer may result from a combination of several factors, such as heredity, environment, health condition and lifestyle.
Benign pleural mesothelioma
Benign tumors that form in the chest sometimes called benign (benign) mesothelioma. But the term is misleading. Benign mesothelioma is not started on the same cell where the cancer is formed. And in some cases kacil, benign mesothelioma can be very aggressive. For this reason, some doctors now prefer to call this tumor as a solitary fibrous tumor.
Solitary fibrous tumors usually do not cause signs and symptoms. It is unclear what caused the solitary fibrous tumor, but tumors are associated with asbestos contamination pollutants. Treatment for solitary fibrous tumors usually includes surgery procedures.
Risk factors
- Exposure to asbestos pollutants (primary risk factor)
Asbestos is a mineral found in the neighborhood. Asbestos fibers are strong and resistant to heat makes it very useful to be applied to a variety of needs. People who work in environments polluted many asbestos fibers have a greater risk of exposure mesothelioma.
When asbestos split - such as making process - asbestos dust is formed. If dust is inhaled or swallowed asbestos fibers will then settle in the lungs or in the stomach and can cause irritation that causes mesothelioma.
Some people who over many years exposed to asbestos pollution can not have mesothelioma, while others the opposite. This indicates that other factors may be related, namely the hereditary factors do you have a family history of cancer in some people is a condition that increases the risk.
Risk factors that may
Risk factors that may increase the risk of mesothelioma include:
• Exposure to asbestos fiber dust pollution
• Living with someone who works in an environment with asbestos (the asbestos fibers are attached to their clothing or skin)
• Smoking
• SV40 virus is found in many primates
• X-ray radiation
• Family history with mesothelioma
Prevention
Beware if you work in an environment with asbestos
Many people who experienced mesothelioma exposed to asbestos fibers while working at places such as:
• Mine
• Factory worker
• Manufacturing of electronic components
• Construction of rail
• Shipbuilding
• Construction workers
• Mechanics
For prevention it can be done by:
• Follow standard safety regulations
• Do not use objects that contain asbestos in your neighborhood

Pancreatic Cancer Can Now Detected Early
U.S. researchers found specific changes in the blood of patients suffering from two types of cancer that is lethal pancreatic cancer and mesothelioma cancer. This allows the physician to diagnose cancer at an early stage.
By using scanning technology developed by Somalogic Inc., the company researchers say they can detect early signs of pancreatic cancer and one type of lung cancer called mesothelioma in people who are diagnosed but untreated for the disease. "At this time the cancer is detected at an advanced stage, when treatment is likely minimal," said Rachel Ostroff, director of clinical research at Somalogic Inc., who presented the findings at a meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research in Denver recently.
Pancreatic cancer usually strikes without symptoms and was discovered at an advanced stage. The National Cancer Institute says pancreatic cancer is rarely curable. If the cancer is still in the pancreas (localized), cure rates will be higher. Even so, expectations are usually either on the entire case is only slightly less than 20 percent.
For patients with cancer who are still measuring less than 2 cm, with no spread to lymph nodes, surgical removal of cancer can save patients up to five years at least. This possibility could reach 18-24 percent.
The pancreas is an organ shaped like a tube sponge / sponge with a length of approximately 6 inches, located behind the stomach. The pancreas produces enzymes and hormones, including insulin. Pancreatic enzymes help digest food in the small intestine, whereas insulin to control blood sugar levels. Both enzymes and hormones necessary for maintaining the body to work properly.
Men have twice the likelihood of developing this disease. Pancreatic cancer is more common in smokers than nonsmokers. People who suffer from chronic pancreatic disease and those likely to suffer from long-standing diabetes (especially women) have a greater risk.
Meanwhile, mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is often caused by malignant cells that develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the organs. The most common is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall), but may also occur in the pericardium, or lining vaginalis.
Most of the people affected by mesothelioma are caused by frequent exposure to asbestos particles. Washing clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos can also be at risk of developing mesothelioma. Unlike lung cancer, and there was no association between mesothelioma and smoking.
Symptoms of mesothelioma include shortness of breath due to pleural fluid (fluid between the lung and the chest wall) or chest wall pain, and also because of overweight. "The detection of aggressive cancers at an early stage will identify patients for early treatment, which may improve their quality of life and a chance to recover," he said.
Pancreatic cancer is relatively rare, but it is the fourth largest cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States (U.S.). While mesothelioma, caused by asbestos, killed around 15 thousand to 20 thousand people per year worldwide.
In August, NEC Corp. of Japan to invest 5 million dollars as part of a strategic partnership with Somalogic based in Colorado to develop technology aimed at detecting the disease by testing the protein in a drop of blood. Somalogic test depends on aptamers - a series of genetic material that is bound to proteins. Somalogic have improved technology that makes the molecule more likely to attach to specific proteins.
For the study, researchers tested blood samples from patients firms suffering from two types of cancer and those in the control group who have a condition with symptoms similar to pancreatitis and cancers such as lung fibrosis. The team used computer models to find significant differences in biology, or biological markers or biomarkers that distinguish blood samples from cancer patients with those who do not
suffering from cancer.
For both cancers, the team found a biological marker that has high accuracy in detecting any type of cancer, said Ostroff. They are also very specific, meaning they are able to properly remove people who do not suffer from the cancer. Now biomarkers that need to be reinforced by other studies to ensure that the results were accurate and reproducible in diagnostic tests. "It's easy to find biomarkers," Ostroff said at the meeting. "It's hard to do validation on them."
Ostroff said his team will observe a number of factors that can trigger false positive results, such as how long a sample should be placed on the shelf before being tested. "We are researching this parameter to ensure that we observed biomarkers of disease," he said.

Plumbers (Plumber) high risk for Mesothelioma
Plumbers (Plumber) high risk for Mesothelioma
Plumbers (Plumber) is the most risky industry workers for the deadly cancer mesothelioma. That's the finding of insurance industry study recently conducted in England.
In a report prepared by the National Claims, found that the plumber or ex-plumber, and electricity, construction workers and auto mechanics, has the possibility of further higher risk of cancer associated with asbestos compared people working in other industries. This is a finding supported by CDC researchers in the United States which found the number of death from mesothelioma among plumbers and predict events This could continue to rise for 40 years.
Asbestos is an insulating material that is widely used in industry in worldwide until the 1980's. This is mainly about the resilience pipeline to temperature extremes and corrosion. Although no longer used in new construction - and even been banned in more from 40 countries (though not in the U.S.) - asbestos still exists around the pipe water, in pipe fittings and water heating filament millions of old homes and commercial buildings. Plumbers who do cutting pipes, repair or replacement pipes, can release toxic fibers that is the origin of the onset of mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and other diseases.
The report warns the UK insurance ex-plumbers and plumbers, Mesothelioma is a very dangerous disease because it tends to developing slowly, with symptoms that can mimic other conditions, diagnosis of mesothelioma was found initially very small possibility until the disease is gradually developing in the future day. According to the report "The symptoms of asbestosis often only arise 15 to 20 years after initial exposure to asbestos. Symptoms begin gradually, and may become more noticeable over several years. Common symptoms are shortness of breath (initially after physical activity, but eventually he breaks too), coughing, wheezing, and chest pain. "
At the same time, the 'Daily Telegraph' in England reported that the cost of issued by a former plumber who was diagnosed with mesothelioma in hospital approximately 175,000 pounds.

Mesothelioma Study: The role of mesothelin in the establishment of Cancer Genes
Japanese researchers have recently investigated the mechanism of mesothelin genes that result in malignant mesothelioma. The study was published in the medical journal Human Pathology.
Mesothelioma is a rare cancer that occurs almost entirely caused by exposure to asbestos. Because there is no cure for this disease, life expectancy for most mesothelioma patients ranged between four and 18 months after diagnosis of mesothelioma is known for sure. Although there is no cure to date, some patients who are diagnosed early mesothelioma can be given a combination of aggressive therapy, such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Combination therapy, which is known as a multimodality therapy, currently has the best chance to extend the life of the patient.
Mesothelioma malignant cells
The study's authors explained, "Gene methylation led to the development of malignant tumors in several tumor [malignant mesothelioma] are histologically divided into three subtypes, namely, epithelioid, sarcomatoid and biphasic types, and it shows that mesothelin expression is restricted to epithelioid type and the epithelioid component of biphasic MM type (malignant mesothelioma). However, the mechanism of expression regulation has not been clarified. "
Asbestos Pipe workers at high risk for Mesothelioma
A total of 118 lung specimens examined, including 39 MM, 41 lung carcinomas, 26 nonneoplastic lung lesions, and 12 samples of normal lung tissue. Specimens were tested for mesothelin expression by immunohistochemistry test, along with the methylation status of 20 locations mesothelin gene promoter.
The results showed mesothelin is expressed in the epithelioid subtype of epithelioid and biphasic subtypes. However, the expression of mesothelin is not found in either the subtype of sarcomatoid or sarcomatous part of the biphasic type. Mesothelin gene promoter have a significantly hypomethylasi on mesotehelioma malignant specimens without subtype when compared with other lung lesions and lung tissue samples to normal.
The risk of asbestos industry workers
The researchers concluded, "These findings suggest that hypomethylasi of mesothelin gene promoter may be specifically associated with the formation of MM, regardless of expression status, and that the mesothelin protein expression is lost in the sarcomatoid type due to some posttranscriptional regulatory mechanisms are unknown. "

Mesothelioma definition :
Type of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.
Cancer is generally considered a tumor of the pleura and not the type of lung cancer.
• Cancer involves the pleura (the membrane covering the lungs).
• A cancer of the lining of the lung, chest and abdomen caused by inhaling asbestos dust and fibers or asbestos exposure
• A cancer cell that forms a layer similar to the lungs, heart, abdominal cavity and organs.
• A malignant tumor that includes the lining of the lungs, often associated with exposure to asbestos.
• A tumor or tumor affecting the lining the chest or abdomen.
• A malignant tumor of the mesothelium caused by inhaling asbestos
• A tumor of the lining of the lungs. Mesothelioma is almost exclusively related to asbestos exposure.
